2m20 MULTIPLICITE DE RELATIONS D'INDIFFERENCE

We are born and our identity begins to take form. 2m20 : multiplicité de relations d'indifference is a walldrawing that is structured in congruence with this formation. Using Erik Erikson's eight life stages as a source, myself as a subject, and the line as a vehicle, these walldrawings progressively develop their proper sign structures/constellations while simultaneously developing a narrative that runs from the moment of my birth until the moment that La Distance qui se Déplie entre la Pelouse et l'Homme is completed (stage 6 and the final stage of this project). La Distance qui se Déplie entre la Pelouse et l'Homme manifests the disassociation between the Influenced Identity and the context that influenced it. This drawing is made on paper that has been fixed to the far wall of the project room. The drawing is realized as part of the walldrawing installation, and upon completion is removed from the wall, framed, and moved downstairs.
